Exodus Authority support
Exodus Authority is a single-player strategy game from Iron Buffalo Studios, coming to iPhone and Android, with a PC version later. It has no account and no ads, and your saved games stay on your device.
Please tell us your phone model, the game version (it is on the title screen) and what happened. If it is about a run, you can attach your save file (see where your saves are, below).
What Exodus Authority is
It is 2091. To power the swarm around the Sun, humanity lifts material off the Sun itself, and it is killing it. You run the Exodus Authority: research, build probes, haulers and colony ships, scan real worlds in a 3D map of the Solar System and the nearby stars, and get as many people out as you can before 2166.
On iPhone the game needs iOS 17 or later. There is no sign-in and no ads.
Where are my saves?
On your phone, and nowhere else. The game saves at every big moment and at least every 3 months of game time, and picks up where you left off. Nothing is sent to us or to any server.
Can I see my save in the Files app?
Yes. Open the Files app, tap Browse, then On My iPhone, then Exodus Authority. Your run is the file run.json. If something goes wrong, you can attach it to an email to us. It only leaves your phone if you send it.
How do I start a new run?
On the title screen, tap New run. If a run is still going, the game asks first: the old run ends and cannot be continued later. On Hardcore, ending a run counts it as abandoned on your Hardcore record. Induction Day, the training run, has its own save and never touches your real run; you can replay it from Settings.
Why does the game look less smooth in Low Power Mode?
To save battery, the game runs at 30 frames a second while your iPhone is in Low Power Mode. Turn Low Power Mode off (Settings, Battery) and it goes back to normal. The game also drops to 30 frames a second when the phone gets hot, and to 20 if it gets very hot, so it cools down sooner.
Found a bug?
Email us with what you were doing, a screenshot if you have one, and your save file if it is about a run. What helps most: where you got stuck, anything that looked broken, and how long a session felt.
Does the game collect my data?
No. There is no account, no ads and no analytics, and the game sends nothing about you to us. The one optional download (extra looks for your Director, only after you tap Download) fetches files from our server, which keeps no log of it. During a beta, Apple or Google may share crash reports and the feedback you choose to send. The details are in our privacy policy.
